I’m Jennifer Beers (she/her), a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist offering virtual therapy for adults across California—including Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Orange County. I specialize in EMDR therapy and create a nonjudgmental, supportive space where clients can reconnect with themselves, heal from painful experiences, and move forward with more clarity and self-compassion.
While my license says “Marriage and Family,” I work exclusively with individuals—especially those navigating trauma, complex PTSD, identity exploration, and self-worth. I’m passionate about supporting Queer, People of Color (POC), and survivor communities who have spent too long feeling unseen or silenced. If you’ve been made to feel like too much, not enough, or never safe enough—therapy can be a place to rewrite that story. I’d be honored to walk beside you.

What to expect
I show up as a real human first—because therapy works best when you feel safe, seen, and supported. You won’t find a blank stare or a therapist hiding behind a clipboard. I cuss sometimes, cry with clients sometimes, and always hold space with care and honesty.
Whether it’s your first time in therapy or you’ve been here before, our first session is a real conversation. You can expect to share what’s been feeling heavy, what's been hard to carry, and what you’re hoping will feel different. We’ll move at your pace—no pressure, no performance. Just a chance to begin wherever you are.
Therapy with me isn’t about perfection—it’s about presence. We’ll explore the patterns that show up in your life, the beliefs you’ve carried (especially the ones that were never yours to begin with), and what it means to feel more grounded, more whole, and more you.
